In 2008, Spike Lee was set to direct a film about the 1992 Los Angeles Riots. Unlike most of his works where he wrote the scripts for his works, he hired John Ridley and Terry George to write the script for the film. Brian Grazer was hired to produce the film.

Plot

The plot is currently unknown, it would most likely revolve around fictional or somewhat true events that occurred during the 1992 Los Angeles Riots.

Why It Was Cancelled

  1. The only known reason for the film's cancellation is because Spike Lee didn't have enough money for the project.
