Superman: Red Son live-action film
In 2017, Jordan Vogt-Roberts wrote an adaptation of Red Son to Warner Brothers, as an addition to the DC Extended Universe with different actors for both Superman and Batman, but the project was cancelled. Mark Millar responded by saying that two friends of his had been approached by WB to direct a live-action adaptation of Red Son. There have been no further developments since then.
The plot would have been the same as the story.
Why It Was Cancelled
- Vogt-Roberts didn't like the idea of a Red Son live-action film.
- Superman: Red Son was permanently cancelled.
