The Super Mario Bros. Movie (Sony Pictures Animation film)
In December 2014, Sony decided to make a deal with Nintendo on making a CGI Super Mario Bros. film. However, it was quietly cancelled, Illumination produced The Super Mario Bros. movie in 2023, at 2025 Sony Leakeds Mario Bros. Movie as a Live Action animated.

Why It Was Cancelled
- The 2014 Sony Hack caused the cancellation.
- Sony was working on Popeye. (Which was also cancelled and got moved to King Features Syndicate)

- Universal and Illumination made an animated Mario film that is already out for a release in 2023.
