In the 1980s, Don Bluth considered doing a Beatles movie with help from Michael Jackson titled Strawberry Fields Forever. He planned on doing it entirely in CGI, meaning if this were made, it would have been the first fully computer-generated feature film, beating Toy Story by eight years.

Plot

The film were to have Fantasia-style sequences of Beatles music, with them dressed as gangsters.

Why It Was Cancelled

  1. The surviving Beatles members refused to have their likenesses licensed for the film.
