Russ & Roger Go Beyond was a planned 2018 biographical comedy-drama film written and directed by John Carney and starring Will Ferrell as Russ Meyer and Josh Gad as Roger Ebert. the film was cancelled in October 2017 due to the sexual assault scandal involving producer Harvey Weinstein and the MeToo and Time's Up movement.


It would have focused on the filmmaking of Beyond the Valley of the Dolls involving director Russ Meyer and writer/critic Roger Ebert.
