Dufus

During the late 1980s, Disney planned on making an animated film titled Dufus.

Plot

The plot would have been similar to The Catcher in the Rye, but with German shepherds.

Why It Was Cancelled

1. JD Salinger refused to sell the rights to the novel to any filmmaker.
