Alien III was an unfinished 1990 film for action, sci-fi horror film draft for a sequel to Aliens written by Ward and John John Fasano.
Plot
The film would've taken place where Ripley found herself in Arceon, the wooden planet with an Alien in it.
Why It Was Cancelled
- Twohy's proposed script was rejected, and was followed by the first draft of what would become the final shooting script
- The script wasn't finished.
Result
- In 1992, 20th Century Fox released the new version of Alien 3, and it took place in Fiorina 161, a penal colony planet terrorized by an alien. The film was not well received by most critics, fans, and audiences.
